HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

time flies and it is 2009 now. and tmr is the eve of cny. im working tmr, but till 6pm. will ride my bike home and hopefully to reach home ard 6.45pm. and then dinner for 1hr and off i go to chinatown. :D

this mth is hectic. lotsa projects and all.

let's say happy bday to mr poon first!

poor mr poon has to work cos it was leave freeze period and his bday happens to fall on the first day of leave freeze period.

so we bought him a cake to celebrate so tt he wont feel so sad working. lol. there is nothing to be sad when we are ard. he was so surprised when we showed him the cake. on tt day itself, we were on night shift and we had to attend COO session. after which we went for dinner together but jesse and i sneakily went off to buy him a cake. we cited reasons like oh we wanna go shopping and all and he really believed us :)

so there u go, mr poon, happy 26th bday!

oh yes this month + next month is super hectic. this month im filled with talks like COO talk, ntu career fair briefing (yes, im gg NTU to promote PSA), safety talk, junior officers appraisal talk (i need to do appraisal for 22 junior officers. :() and to complete the project on e-filing and paper saving for brani ship planning. and i just had a 4 day chalet with my family. gosh, busy busy.

next month is brani terminal company lunch, PSA fish prog, deadline for the junior officers appraisal, ntu career fair on the 5th.

gosh, too many things under the portfolio. :/

im not complaining, i love work and i like these to keep me busy. but with cny ard the corner, i need a breather. during this recession, my company is trying hard to train us for the next peak. this lull period is making alot of pp worried but we are assured bcos of the upcoming trainings and courses tt we are being sent for.

and yes, im moving onto operations next month! so happy! and im gg to be in another team with mr loy, mr su, mr thong, mr tan and mr hong. heh. being in ship planning open my eyes to many new stuff, but i hope to gain more knowledge and experience with operations. and im sure my ship planning knowledge can complement my ship operations! :)

new year, new job rotation, new portfolio, new dreams and new goals and hopefully a new car after the recession.

im full of joy and drive this year!

happy chinese new year to all once again. tmr shall buy some kueh over for my guys!
