time to change my perspective.

after all the research on hk, i realised i prob didnt explore hk enuff to understand that it could be that interesting the previous time i went . it could also be due to the fact tt i was only a student when i went to hk about 6 yrs back and i was so poor tt everything had to be under certain budget. or it could be also due to the fact that i didnt understand the full meaning of travel. travel is not just abt shopping and sleeping and eating.

now with the maturity, travelling takes on a new meaning. travelling means to spend time w loved ones, to learn abt the language abroad, to immerse in the culture, to stroll along the streets breathing the air, to people watch and it entails of course many other little things.

gone were those days of intense shopping and compulsive eating and sleeping very little.

im gg to make full use of these 7 days in hk. if vessel delays, another 1 more day FOC. im so going to look forward to the 6 days in humble hostels and a 1 day (or 2) in a 4 star hotel proudly sponsored by my dear company and a 1 day trip to macau and a 1 day trip to shenzhen if visa is not required. im really confused over the visa thing for shenzhen.

made another trip to causeway just now to borrow my HK/Macau lonely planet book and 2 organisational behaviour books for crispy because it was all my fault tt she cldnt make it to the library yest.

collected the 3 pairs of giordano bottoms and got my favourite ice milk tea from mos burger to cool myself down in this hot monday.

popped down to ntuc and got my 3 for $8.95 unagi (eel). and i saw this scene tt made me smile and laugh a little as i walked out from the supermarket. there was this couple at the shampoo section and the gf was obviously enjoying smelling the new shampoos in the market. the bf just stood beside her ans stared at the lights above him. and the gf went on the the shelf beside it and experiment more. he tagged along with the eyes fixed on the ceiling. lol. the gf was obviously so oblivious to his boredom!

packed some stuff for my hk trip. i always like packing early for trips because it gives u sth to look forward to.

night shift later. jesse coming over and we shall go work together on my 200cc bike. =)

and i think i got 2x $500 from 2 person who love me very much as my bday gift! YAY.

time for some news and then nap time. =)
