yest was the pre-TP-test day. and i promised myself to slp early. so i woke up at 7am. even mr wee was amazed tt i woke up so early. msn-ed and all.. then i realised im slpy at 1.30pm. so i went to bed and OH NO only woke up at 4pm for my driving. smart right. slpt for 2.5hrs means night time no need to slp.

so i made myself very tired after the driving practice. watched lotsa tv, used the internet, fought the hunger. i slept at 10.30pm. YAY.

BUT i got up at 12.30am and never went back to slp till 4am. -_-"" i thot by eating supper, i will feel full and have the after-meal-syndrome. NO IT DIDNT EVEN HAPPEN.

and my supper was damn fattening. koka instant curry noodles with egg without the egg yolk. then i had nightmares while i was awake. wat happend if my pole dropped during parking, wat happened if i knocked into someone, what happened if the tester is some fat guy with a very fierce look, or what happened?!!?!??!

TMD.

i cldnt slp the whole night bcos of the test. then at 7.30am my sister woke me up and went JIEJIE WAKE UP TEST TEST TEST! i reluctantly woke up with all the nightmares stuck in my head. had my lovely brekkie, my char bee hoon with fish fillet! even tabao one packet for mr khoo. i tell you, i will never get sick of char bee hoon. yum. drank some coffee to perk myself up, but yucks the coffee was so thick, it tasted like espresso.

okie so i had practice at 9am, went to the circuit, told mr khoo how scared i was, told him how cold my hands were, told him how i didnt slp thruout the whole night. he just laughed at me. haha then did the circuit and AHHHHHHHHH i suck at the slope. got scolding 3x!

at 10.40am, he taught me the last thing i needed to know ie e brake. he didnt teach me the e brake thruout this 6 mths i swear. then he made me practise 4 times and say "okay now bring this up and go for ur test."

and can u imagine i was so shocked?!?!!?!? like huh! this might be part of the test and u are saying 4 times of practice is okay? luckily i had e brake experience w my bike and as well as driving lesson in the port. =D

so 10.45am, i went up and froze like a little kid taking her PSLE. dunno why all testers got this frozen face also.

route 7! i got route 7! HENG.

so i drove drove drove. came back and follwed the tester to the room with my head low low.

he nagged.

he nagged twice.

he nagged again.

SIGH.................................. =(

called/texted ahma, gugu, daiqi, yongxin, samuel, yellow, crispy, tammy, mummy, sharon, kimelia, charlotte, jesse, yumin, kenneth to share the good news.

heh. tonight night shift, going for supper and YX is going to let me drive his car! better bring my P plate along. P plate, u are once again useful after hiding in my bike box for 6 mths!

(an advertorial for mr khoo, no he didnt ask me to do, but i just wanted to share good things with pp.) my instructor is a very patient person but he is very naggy. naggy means nag but wont scold you or be very fierce.. if there is anyone interested in taking lessons, can approach him.

at bukit batok area. he speaks chinese and only some basic english. rate is $26/hour (due to the rising fuel cost now) used to be $24/hr. i believe $26 should be the market rate now. the fuel is really ex now. when i took up lessons 6 mths back, it was $1.80/L for 95. now for the same petrol grade, it rose till $2.20-$2.30/L till date.

he drives a manual mitsubishi lancer. and his schedule is quite packed so he only has slots for you to learn once a week. he will expect u to pass ur final theory before approaching him. he does take in students who pass only basic theory like my sister but that is when u PLEAD w him (i wanted my sister to learn early cos she has no road exp and she is a little timid, so an early start will be good) heh.

till date i only spent $900. and passed first attempt. he is quite a fatherly man. no regrets learning from him thou he nags alot. someone who focuses alot on safety ie the key to pass.

his 1st timers passing rate is 50%. it could be even higher, but from all the feedbacks of his student tt he told me, the other 50% failed because they were too neverous in the circuit. heh. he told me there was this studen who has driving lessons during NS and he could drive very well. he took only 5 lessons and he was all ready to take the test. but he took twice and still failed cos he couldnt overcome the fear and poles started to drop all over during his parking. so really, it boils down to individual performance on tt day. u can check his passing rates online.
