day shift.
day shift today.
i realise my posts are getting more and more mundane. but somehow i find satisfaction in many things.
started the day shift with a light one.
then attended meetings. and finally at 2+, lunch! yay. i pouted when they told me to eat at the canteen then stupid colleague of mine mr tan said im spoiled. haha. cos i always tell them i cant survive w/o aircon and i dont like the smell of the canteen aircon.
so had lunch and bitched abt mr wee's new $700 dog. haha his life just revolves ard the dog now.
did my round of safety inspection, saw some dangerous acts and told the workers to not sit ard the wharf side, it is freaking danngerous can! the drive was good in the car. sooooooo big tt i cldnt estimate the turning radius. took lotsa pictures to submit for my report and i realise i havent been out for soooo long.
back to the office, got praised by lao ban. =) happy to be acknowledged.
tmr expo got sale, im gg after my driving lessons.
speaking of which, mr wee asks me to be his driver in the port. so i drove his manual car and he almost vomitted blood! i think i shld be the one vomitting blood can. his acceralator is soooooo sensitive and clutch is so tough. plus i was wearing my pretty heels.
dropped down at the bus stop and hurried to my bike cos i was so freaking tired!
came home and pigged and laid on my new bed. awww. blissful as i read the world atlas and switched on my hifi on my bed.
learnt more abt shipping routes today. and i realise im almost 1 yr into my job! im officially a senior now! new grads are coming in soon.
boss asked me abt saigon and jebelali shipping route today and i was like ? im going to steal the world shipping route map from someone and be an expert on these countries. and i realise, there are about 8000+ ports in the world. all thanks to my colleague's file!
and 2 of my colleagues are going HK for the sampan trip next month! im waiting for my turn!
funny how i feel so super fortunate with the fujitsu aircon and a serving of crunchy apple every night. hmm. =)
it has been such a long day. driving at 0930 tmr. zzzz.
