it is 2am and im still awake.

suddenly i miss studying. then i think of my job.

working in the port for the past 6 months has given me invaluable experience.

from the first day of orientation, to starting shift work. learning driving, driving ard in the port w the hyundai tuscon, then getting along with aged workers, reporting to bosses, getting scolded for mistakes, making friends, gossiping about our managers, cheonging the vessesls, feeling lost when we cant find the container to load, eating roti prata at night, falling aslp at 5am and then super awake at 7am cos it is end work time, wearing my funky yellow shoes to work with all guys looking (haha), being financially independent, learnin how to use the walkie talkie, understanding the various types of containers, having ur workers "get back to work" when they see you, preparing for meetings, looking forward to bonus, sleeping at 10am, waking up at 7pm, working on weekends, shopping on monday mornings, running errands on weekdays, getting my name cards with designation - operation executive, applying my first ever credit card.

woah.

everything. i think along the way, i fall, trip, overspend and pick myself up.

they always say OJT is the honeymoon period, i cant agree more. but i had my tough times of being a independent planner in charge. taking statement from my guy bcos he fell aslp during shift and kena caught by my BIG BIG boss. buying coffee to perk the guys up at 4am to make sure they really work for you.

tough. but sweet when u see the guys go "XIAOJIE, GOOD MORNING" early in the morning when u report for shift. then the guys start to discuss bikes with me like im a guy, or they ask me why girls so troublesome (which i will then stare at them and threaten to give them more work if they ask summore, haha)

today is just an impromptu post anyways.

but the point is i really miss mugging for sch. i miss the oh-no-tmr-there-is-a-test-and-i-totally-forgot anxiety and the pimples popping stressful exam period and the zzzzz times when the lecturer is nagging.

tt day i was just talking to my colleague abt their future plans.

some are taking CFA, some saving up for masters, some looking forward to build a family with their current partner, some hoping to buy a car after clearing their study loans, some aspire to raise up the rank in 3 years time.

many kinda plans.

but i guess i shall keep mine simple for now.

to learning driving and then to start on a new course in end 2008. crispy's gg to start sch in april too. i got no more peng you :( ultimately, i make sure i learn sth as i grow.

and not forgetting my frens too.

meeting kim this thursday!

i decided on my next year travel destination - beijing. to help complete ahgong's last wish.

tmr gg to wish ahma.
