HCMC

vietnam was darn good. ho chi minh. a place of memories esp it has been rebuilt 40 yrs back after the vietnam-america war.

i didnt shop much. instead i went on alot alot of sightseeing. took full 3 hrs of videos with my new videocam. tried backpacking style by staying in backpacker's hostel.

ate at streetside stalls. learnt vietnamese. kum urn = thank you in vietnamese.

then chatted with the hostel maanger. totally shocked when i learnt that they earn only USD 80 per mth. ;/

everything was good. the tan son nhat international airport. the wines and beer that i bought at dfs. heh. the fake branded stuff. man, there are no real stuff there. all fakes.

the beef guo tiao soup. the spring roll. oh man esp good. and the baugette. the stuffed ham. the fried rice. the guided tours. the war mueseum. the reunification hall. the central post office. the catheral. the temples. the cholon (chinatown). the whole sale centre. the fake look-alike LV bag for my ahma (heh) the $3/kg sugar coconut tibits. the iced coffee. the motorbikes! ALL SO PRETTY! the us dollar. the dong.

man i begin to miss everything the moment i touched down. from being fetched all the way back home, i start to miss the honking, the polluted air, the 60 cents baugette.

okay, im super tired. i came back at 7pm and i had to work at 7.30am the next 2 days. thankfully today is the 2nd day of day shift. tmr night shift and my weekends off. =)

life's blissful. :)

photos when i regain all my energy. im totally drained after planning our VIP vessel today.

gosh. back to our $3 noodles in singapore and no more being a millionaire (SGD 1 = VND 10,000)
