life's fragility and happiness.

the fragility of life.

just the other evening, i was heading to yishun and i saw this fatal (i supposed judging from what i saw) accident. this cab driver hit 2 bikes. both bikes were going straight and then cab driver was trying to make a right turn. with his reckless driving, he hit the rear wheel of one bike which made the biker jumped out of the bike and the other one head on which made the female pillon flew and twisted her neck and the male rider was left motionless when he hit the ground. and i saw the ambulance and stretcher carrying the vicitims.

both injured victims were both prob only 18.

isnt a driving licence just meant for drivers to drive on the road? and what abt those nonsensical test tt everyone has to go thru? doesnt it teach them the safety precautions that they have to take? driving a car is simple, it is a pure technical thing. but to know how to drive safely is one thing. the licence is meant for driving only, but the driver is definitely not licenced to injure/kill people with his reckless skills.

definition of accident:

an undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss; casualty; mishap: automobile accidents.

IS IT REALLY UNINTENTIONAL? AND COULD IT BE PREVENTED IN THE FIRST PLACE?

the right of way belongs to the bikers and i cldnt ustand how a driver can just insist on his way to turn right and harm 3 innocent riders?

i wish the driver would receive a heavy sentence and be gulity for the rest of his life.

i have quite a few friends whose dad is a cab driver. in case, if the MURDERER IS UR DAD, i dont really care. he deserves it.

and the accident got many pp worried abt me just like crispy who insisted to send/fetch me to work. haha i got so many nice pp ard me. i promise to be safe and ride carefully.

and just now, i woke up after my night shift last night. i wanted to ring ahma up and to tell her im gg to bring her and ahgong out after i get this month's pay.

then i realised i forgot ah gong is no longer ard.

constantly, im being reminded of him. coupled with the accident tt i witnessed, i promise to cherish life more.

love more, eat more, luff more, slp more.

all my meetings with friends were cancelled. but it is okay. im gg to rest at home. i need to recuperate from those day/night/off/syandby man.
