some pp are just pain in the neck. :D there is this blog which i always read and i always get very puzzled. this blogger COMPLAINS AND WHINES ALOT ABT EVERY SINGLE THING IN LIFE. like her face, her low salary, her average middle income family, her not-so-sweet bf. EVERYTHING. omg. doesnt she know how to appreciate the better things in life? then u're asking me, why do i still bother to read. heh. cos im 38. as simple as tt. sumtimes, reading such pathetic people's blogs make u realise how fortunate u are. :) okay so the decemeber schedule is out! i am going to be sooooooooo busy. with alot of colleagues taking leave for the CFA courses, holidays with kids and all, im gg to work and work and work. but i shall await for my jan vietnam trip. heh. ![]() SEE! IT IS ALL FILLED WITH STANDBYS AND GRAVEYARD SHIFT AND DAY SHIFTS. OMG. and im gg independent as a POIC (planner officer in charge) and i hope my senior operations supervisor planners will help me along the way! they are in their 50s but they are as alert as ever. everyday they share knowledge of what's nice, how-to-do of everything in life. do listen to their seniors, they can teach u alot more of things that u thot u ALREADY knew. like how mr leow taught me to switch EV 0 to EV 1.0 for digital camera to make pictures look brighter when they are developed. last sat i bought a bag to pamper myself. heh. salary came just in time. ![]() and i have been carrying it everyday cos i like how it looks so tai-tai-ish. im a psuedo one okay. LOL. and just e other day, stanley (insurance agent) gave me this. ![]() he is a new financial advisor and i bought policies from him bcos 1. my company wanted us to get 2. i needed financial planning so gave him a chance and i can see that he is working hard for me and i got myself another new friend! :) ![]() the books tt i have been burying myself in. tmr gg to the zoo, sunday going to science centre!! all thanks to my PSA corporate passes!! :D now i got this dumb cheeseburger craving. lotsa ketchup and mustard and pickles please. :D i learnt 3 point turn and u turn yest! chatted with the driving instructor and he made me very determined to get my first condo in sg or bungalow in msia by the age of 30. STRIVING FOR TT!!!! he says shopping is a good way to relieve stress but alot of times, we spend too much on redundant items which is definitely darn true la. im gg to pack my room one of these days to sell my things away or to reuse the items. hmmm, talk abt finanacial planning. okay, im gg to slp and get ready for night shift. shall collect my corporate pass from the PSA club after i end work and sleep till 2pm for my ZOO trip! oh, i wanted to say sth abt this whole shift job of mine. people out there, kindly respect my/my colleagues' choices to choose this job of ours. whether we chose this out of passion, prestige, remmuneration, it is none of ur business. how we stay up awake from 1930-0730 or how to buy lotsa eye cream to reduce those dark eye rings, how we will get unhealthy from those late nights and late night suppers is seriously NONE OF UR BUSINESS. i/we are enjoying our job and our off days (WOAH STILL GOT WHAT ALLOWS U TO WORK 2 DAYS OFF 2 DAYS EXCEPT WHEN THE 2STANDBYS/MONTH COMES IN) and every single thing that our company is providing. so please do not make unnecessary comments bcos we dont need tt. some people just getting the sour-grapes syndrome. *smile* |
