moments of pondering.

for many times, i wanted to blog abt how my grandpa's funeral made me see many things which i didnt in the past.

the kinda of friends that i have. (good/bad)
the closely knitted bond with my relatives.
the love i had for my grandpa.
the loss.

and many times, i wish i didnt have to close my eyes to bed with grandpa in my mind.

just the other day, there was this 2 pimples on my forehead and i was whining away cos i think i looked not-so-pretty. then i didnt have the mood to dress up. wore simple top and a skirt plus a pair of 100baht slippers out.

then i was in the train (wasnt riding cos it was raining) then i saw this guy who walked in with his whole face scarred. he must have been involved in some fire-related accident. his face was burnt and only his forehead was saved. his entire face was brown and "crispy" and i saw him secretly lowered his head the moment he walked into the train.

and i thot to myself. i am so fortunate as compared to him. wat is 2 pimples compare to a burnt face.

seriously, there are many times in life that we shld really start to count our blessings and not lament on wat we lack. like for now, i am really happy tt today is my off and im right at sungei kadut with crispy and having $2 chicken rice.

for now, i shld be really counting my blessings that...

-i have a wonderful job (but im gg independent this jan 2008, man, shit!)
-a 5 yr old bike but working-very-well bike to fetch me ard
-my dear company which is gg to send me to learn driving this coming sat n i will be a qualified auto-driver this on 14 dec 2007. tt is god damn fast i know, but i promise i wont be a road hazard.
-a vietnam trip this coming jan
-sisters tt make me crazy but keep me sane
-friends who always lend me their shoulder
-X number of bags, clothes and shoes
-pretty teeth
-fun colleagues who always "supper" with me at 3am when we are doing night shift?

wat can i ask for more in life?

but i really dunno how to make myself to feel better that grandpa is gone except to tell myself that there are some pp who didnt even have the chance to see their grandparents.

oh speaking of which, there was this night shift where my colleagues and i had supper at the nus roti prata shop.

at 4am, my sister msged me to inform that fries (my male hamster) is dead. and i asked my sister wat happened. apparently, she said fries had breathing difficulties and opened his mouth wide when he passed away.

so i told my colleagues wat happened.

colleague A: oh my god, then ur sister shld have done CPR.
colleague B: mouth so small, how to do CPR. ahhh! use straw.
colleague C: ya, but must use yakult straw.

omg.
