a trip from changi and back.

lately i swore that i wont be influenced by consumerism/globalisation/commercialisation etc. so yeah i managed to save up some money. everytime i wanna buy new clothes, i remind myself that i have about 20 pieces of new clothings sitting at home, waiting to be worn.

then i have been such a thrifty girl that i quitted cafe+restaurants visits. i say hello to hawker uncles and auntie who make equally delicious food at a price 6x lower.

right, i sound like a miser now. but now i have started working, the perspective of many things start to differ. just e other day when my fren wanted a meet up, i told her i cant cfm yet cos i have training and OJT going on, and she seemed to not ustand what working life is abt and thot i didnt wan a meet up. but hey, tt is nt the point. i got many other commitments and to me, this job in PSA is like a career. note: career and not job. so yeah i really wanna invest effort in it. and the other day when i was 7 storeys high abobve the ground, this yard crane uncle operator told me that im SOLD to psa in a way. i just smiled.

but lately, it has been so draining tt i wonder if i have the energy to carry on. with so many thots and other issues, i feel like it isnt an easy job growing up. i think abt my insurance premiums, my parents, my future plans, my future house, my future car, my career. thou it is too early to say anything, i dont wanna be lost and not have any plans when i hit the age of say 30. and of course, there are other issues on my mind.

it is 2pm sat. supposed to be bright and cheery. but i have many errands to do like signing the insurance policy with my consultant later, going to daiso to buy flowerpot, getting my IU on my bike for inspection. and then starting work at 7.30pm till next morning 7.30am. remind me to pack more tibits to keep myself awake ltr. and im so tired cos yest i made a trip to changi airport to welcome yellow back. went out at 9pm and then only reached home at 2am. boy, i didnt realise changi airport can be so far away. a total of 100km mileage clocked. a mcflurry eaten while waiting cos there was no direct flight from nepal and i cldnt figure out which terminal to wait. then finally saw the weary one dressed in her usual red (lucky) tee and then headed home. and she bought me stuff frm nepal! :)

a myraid of feelings i would say.

i stood in front of T1 and randomly chose a country to visit.

come march, i plan to go perth and visit the horse farm.

save up now, jo. :)

lately, i have been too involved with my sentimental hits at home and i get myself too emo. songs songs. from beegees to debbie gibson. those songs never fail to touch my heart. and i recalled how my mum bought me a small cassette radio last time and she fed me with songs by anne murray, klymaxx, peabo bryson & roberta flack and i enjoyed listening to each and every single song. i pranced ard when there are fast tracks and would sit down to read and absorb the lyrics when there are slow hits.

i miss my pink discman. despite the pretty mp3 players out in the market now, i still love my discman. hoping tt i can find someone to repair the fault.

life is tt happy and simple when you tend to see thru many things and keep urself heart at peace. somethings which are meant to be will ultimately head there.

just like wat the lot says, be patient, everything in its time.
