okay, after MIA-ing for so long, im back online again. at 2.30am!!

im busy cos grandpa was admitted into hospital and i have been attending interviews. oh yeah that kinda explained for the disappearance.

and im so looking forward to the interview on thursday. hush hush. i do hope i get it or may something better come along the way.

anyway im gg to upload the photos and head to bed.

my friends in chemistry! =)

i rememebered my first year as a very blur udnergrad. i skipped the orientation bcos i wanted to spend more time with my colleagues in starhub cable and also bcos i was too lazy to go for it. i ended up being a crybaby whenever i had to ballot for modules bcos i cldnt ustand why i was made to take horrible modules! but everything was so much more bearable bcos yellow was always there for me. then i happened to know this super talktative person who is none other than LEE YINGPEI! LOL. we happened to 38 alot and lunched together most of the time. she is definitely one reason why the life in nus passes so much faster. i excelled during my first year but it was also the very same year i realised my passion for chemistry was nothing but illusion. but i persisted on and wanted to see if any surprise holds for me in the future. :( i started working in starhub mobile at the same time and earned independence for myself in alot of aspects. i learnt abt time management and as well as stress management too. it benefits me till this very day. oh not forgetting abt the PR skills that i picked up when dealing with nasty customers. gosh, those were the days.

second year. i took thai 1 and opened door to learning a different language and a different culture. that was when i realised there is a huge world out there for us to explore and it isnt as easy to master a language and to adapt oneself in a new country if one happens to get a relocation chance. with my basic thai, i ventured into bangkok with yellow and spoke wrongly toned thai and got myself embarrassed most of the time. and yellow could even stand behind me and laugh out loud. oh and i happened to get closer to MELVIN YAP ZHI WEI. seems like i make a good fren every year.

and comes third year where it was the crucial year. lab on every monday was a tiring and dreadful one esp it was from 9am-5pm. being a hyperactive kid like me, i soon got bored of standing at the same spot in the lab and my grades for my lab reports suffered. :( soon, it was clear to me that chemistry is not going to be my future. i quitted starhub and joined VMSD and worked in the airport with hell lotsa of fun and $. $ was secondary but a bonus. and i learnt myself all over again cos i recognised the interest in events management. i obtained a class 2b licence and passed it on the first attempt on 26 march 2007 and rode my bike on the road for the first time on 31 march 2007. :) at the same time, i got to know faisal, gadafi, zadan on a closer level.

side note: sth to share w everyone. :)

all i could say is the uni life has been a fulfilling one. thou i may not have excelled academically, i have learnt alot abt myself and how the society out there work. i made some valuable friends. quality, and not quantity counts eh?

thou there is very minimal chance that i will go back to chemistry, i will always be amazed by how chemistry works because the desire and interest to know how things work at microscopic level was the very essence that trigger my interest during JC time.

to all graduates out there, it has been a long 3/4 yrs and we finally made it here today. good luck to all of you out in the job search and it is time to learn to be on our own.

the world out there is huge and exiting but it can be dangerous so be careful in all the choices/decisions you make.

the sky's the limit. strive for the best and may the best excel.
