met up with sixsomes minus onesome cos dor was having her papers the very next day.

so being the very free me with 5 papers completed, suz with her next paper on 2nd may and lin, her next paper on 28 april, and with the 2 SMU kiddos with all papers completed, we had a late night outing at essential brew.

corina and i. :) corina is gg silicon valley for some BMT, business mission trip. how cool.

corine and i. the one who is gg to fly away this 4th may for internship in shanghai. poor underpaid undergrad. lol.

sulin, suz and i. sulin prob is gg to india for internship too. suz is gg to be a social work related trainee. how cool. while im gg to start work at the company where i get to interact w pp all the time and i get to wear pretty formal clothes! life's good for everyone. :)

okay, this photo is absolutely random. sulin offered to help me carry my helmet while i carried my heavy laptop. haha then i said she does not look a single bit like a biker. heh.

anyway the meeting was good. a chat from 8-11pm. and we chatted abt one another's plan. one's gg shanghai, one is going to us, one prob gg to india, one is starting her 3 months or PERMANENT job, while im starting my job. haha corine thot i was gg to wor for LV. and i was like SINCE WHEN MAN!?

chats on religion, marriage, boyfriends/partners, school, friends, holidays etc.

i guess as u grow up, the topics tt one talks abt get more and more different. i rememebered when we were in jc, we gossiped abt who is attached to who, wherever is having sale, which teacher sucks and how our siblings piss us off.

now it is a totally different dimension. we talked abt more sophiscated topics like future career plans, marriage (haha, alot of them wanna get married by 25/26, omg, marriage has never been in my list at all), religion. it feels good to have people whom u can relate to. thou for this holiday, alot of them are gg overseas and im gg to start work in may, may i pray tt such physical distance does not pull us apart. holland v traffic and parking sucks, but well, the place is lovely.

though it is envious to c everyone travelling overseas to have work and have fun, it has never been me to be dependent on my parents to pay for my fun. i will have my fair share of fun and travelling next time when im independent or when my company wants to send me to overseas for leisure and/or business purposes. like wat they say "u get lotsa chance next time :)" i dont wanna be on a budget when im travelling. and the most impt thing is the kinda satisfaction u get when u are on ur own and everything tt u are doing is all paid and planned by urself.

like how i paid for my bike and my bike lessons. like how i paid for my own braces. like how i paid for all my overseas trips. like how i paid for my petrol and parking.

it is nice to be independent. :D
